Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply when you request or book a service with Farrelly Mobile Oil Changes.
Estimates and pricing
Submitting the online form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We will contact you to confirm pricing and a time. The final price may change if additional work is needed. We will get your approval before doing any additional work.
Service area
We serve addresses within about 10 miles of Carlsbad at no travel charge. Jobs farther out may include an extended service area fee, which we will quote before confirming.
Scheduling
We come to the address you provide at the confirmed time. Please make sure the vehicle is accessible with room to work.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment for a full refund of any deposit or payment. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
Payment
Payment is due when the service is complete. We accept cash, card, and check. Card payments may include a processing fee, which is shown on your estimate.
Licensing
Farrelly Mobile Oil Changes is registered with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. Our registration number is on every estimate and invoice.
Estimates, authorization, and invoices
For repair work beyond routine maintenance, we provide a written estimate and do not begin work or exceed the estimate without your authorization. Every completed job receives an invoice listing parts, labor, tax, and the total. We keep estimates, authorizations, and invoices for at least three years.
Replaced parts
You may request the return of replaced parts when you authorize the work. Used oil and filters are hazardous waste and cannot be returned. We recycle them as required by California law.
Complaints
Unresolved concerns about service work may be sent to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair at 1-800-952-5210 or www.autorepair.ca.gov.
Liability
We perform all work with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service. We are not responsible for pre-existing vehicle conditions or issues unrelated to the work performed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
